I think it is perfectly acceptable to nix that weigh in, and just focus on getting back on track for next weeks. Having hiccups and gaining a little is normal, especially in situatinos like this one, but you dont wanna discourage yourself by actually seeing the numbers. I say skip it!
ReplyDeleteIt is completely your choice, but I know from my personal experience, that if I skipped a weigh in, I would binge more and not stay on track. When I skip weigh ins, I do not know where I am at, so it throws me off with what I need to do to get back on track or to continue losing weight. I actually weigh myself around every other day, so that I can note the normal fluctuations in my weight. But, like I said, it is completely up to you. If you think skipping the weigh in will do you more good than actually weighing in, than skip it, otherwise, weigh yourself, take note of what you didn't do or did do that caused the number on the scale, and get back to work for the next weigh in! :) Hope this helps you, and congrats with your progress so far!
ReplyDeleteBree & Kayla, thank you for your input. And Kayla thank you for the kind words. I am probably going to end up stepping on the scale because I have no willpower to stay away from the little white menace. Although right now I may have to actually wait because it looks as though the batteries on the scale are dying.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling my number is gonna be up from last week's weigh in but I'm still gonna post it whatever it says because I want to keep myself accountable. Its what works for me. Putting it out there where I and everyone else can see it and see where I'm at and what I need to be doing better at or whatever. But thats not what works for everyone of course, so do what you gotta do lady! <3
